Charles D. Williams
Charles Williams is a partner of Azimuth Legal Group LLP based in New York with 25 years of experience advising on all aspects of the procurement, development, financing, acquisition and sale of complex infrastructure and energy projects in the United States and around the world. He has extensive experience acting for developers, private equity and industrial sponsors, equity investors, credit providers, asset managers and other infrastructure and energy asset market participants.
Charles’s infrastructure practice spans transportation and social infrastructure and a diverse range of other core infrastructure assets. His energy sector practice focuses on solar and other alternative energy generation projects. Active in the US "public-private partnership" sector since its inception, Charles has acted for clients on the successful development and financing of some of the largest and most innovative P3 projects in the US and Latin America.
Charles is a former partner of Allen & Overy LLP and Ashurst LLP.
